Programming and Events:

Programming at the kwaguqa Arts Initiative represent an aspect of the management, development coordination and promotion of cultural activities in eMalahleni. Our goal is to assist the mandate of the DAC (Department of Arts & Culture) especially, its cultural promotion act of 1983 and statute, its goal with: preservation of arts and culture, A loyal and growing audience, connection of the whole community with the performing arts and a calendar of events that delivers a diversity of genres and appeals to a diverse audience. We do all of the above though we do not have our own permanent facilities such as the Performing Arts Centre.
